When will my child have teeth?
Babies usually start teething from 6 months. The first teeth to emerge are usually the lower front teeth. Occasionally, teeth may erupt before 6 months.
Primary Tooth Eruption

Natal and Neonatal Teeth
Natal teeth are teeth present at birth, while neonatal teeth erupt within the first 30 days. These are usually part of the primary set of teeth and should be cleaned with a soft toothbrush. Natal and neonatal teeth may cause discomfort or feeding difficulties; seek a dental consult if so.
